Bewilderbeast- ” Back 2 The Groove “

Heres a blissed-out track from the newest Bewilderbeast EP, U Know. Although some might say the chill waves are dead, I like to think that the online movement still carries on. You must have patience, give it some time to evolve. This is an excellent example of what kind of magic you can create with just a laptop and a few pieces of cheap music equipment.

I was reading an artist interview with Sandro Kopp on Dazed Digital the other day, and he said something that is pretty relatable to this post.

DD: What is the relationship between technology and art for you?
Sandro Kopp: The two have always been linked. I remember Björk saying something really profound in an interview once that stuck with me for a long time and expresses my feelings about this better than I can. The interviewer was talking about how purely computer-generated music was soul-less and Björk said something like: “If there’s no soul in the computer it’s only because nobody has bothered to put any soul into it.”
